About the Course
Running Against Anxiety & Depression (RAAD) is group therapy combined with a weekly group run. The goal? To go from sitting on the couch to completing a 5K in just 6 weeks with the support of others. We will spend 1 hour in group counseling to talk through ways to cope with anxiety & depression as well as support each other on our training journey. After our group each week, we will go for a training run together to build up to our final session and our 5K run!
Our next group begins Sunday, September 10th. All groups will run on Sunday mornings from 9/10 - 10/22 (with the exception of Sunday, 10/8) from 9 - 11:30 AM in Northwest Philadelphia.
We cap each group at 15 participants, and spots fill up quickly. Reserve your spot by completing a form and paying in full.

Jared Epler

Jared is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the creator of RAAD. In 2011, amid a "quarter life crisis", he decided to train and run the Pittsburgh Marathon. FYI - he is NOT a runner by any stretch of the imagination. But, he discovered through his training the immense impact running had on his own anxiety, and decided to create RAAD.
